Three Generations
Founded in 1993 by Glyn Lawrence, Abbey Funeral Services is a family-run business located in Worle. Glyn’s extensive family heritage in the funeral industry stretches back to the 1800’s, ensuring that Abbey Funeral Services was built on a foundation of compassion, dignity and professionalism. Abbey is proud to be one of the oldest family funeral directors in Worle and Weston Super Mare.
Today, more than 30 years on, Abbey is still run by the Lawrence family, spanning across three generations. With the latest additions of Harvey (son) and James (Son-in-law) joining the family firm. We understand that every family faces a unique journey through grief, and we take pride in offering a supportive, empathetic approach to help ease the burden during difficult times. Our knowledge, sensitivity and attention to detail have helped build lasting trust with families across Worle, Weston-Super-Mare and the surrounding areas.
While upholding traditional values, we also offer flexible and modern funeral options to meet the individual needs and wishes of those we care for. Our dedication to providing gentle guidance and heartfelt support remains at the core of everything we do.
